Back to Seaham

We left Amble this morning just after high tide at 9am and headed for the outside route around Coquet Island with nice steady 10kts from the south, managing to pick our way between a couple of small showers on the way out…. Read More…

Lindisfarne to Amble

We've had a few nights at Holy Island (Lindisfarne) now and have decided we'd better head somewhere to work for a bit, I'd thought I had until November to travel and get the next set of updates ready but it turns out I'll need to submit them by the beginning…. Read More…

The Seaham Stopover

We've been at Seaham for a few days now and are finally moving North again today, it's been quite a pleasant place to stop and day sail with Suzanne while showing her the ropes…. Read More…

Seaham

We finally left Hartlepool this morning & motor sailed up the coast a short way to Seaham, I would have preferred to just sail but it was a case of 2kts under sail alone or 5kts with the engine assisting, Suze didn't want to miss the tidal gate…. Read More…
